I've wrangled the merchant into selling once small piece of artwork from the infamous Lirpa Flow. This piece was an exercise for the students to realize colors may look different when adjacent to other colors...So the idea here is a little lame but I think the execution is rather amazing....click the post if you want to see pictures of the piece.
This piece I simply call "Dexter Inspired". The artist was told to listen to some musical work of art and then try to put an image to the sounds. This artist listened to the introduction to the TV show Dexter over and over again until she came up with this image.
