Remodeling the House - Upstairs phase 1

Here you will see a quick video of our current progress remodeling our first house. The upstairs bathroom was not set up very well and the laundry room was in the basement....we are in the process of making a new laundry space and re configuring the bathroom. A few weeks of work have been put in and a few tons of plaster have been taken out....but as you can see there is more work to be done.

Please Enjoy...

Remodeling the upstairs

Last time I tried this post the pictures were quite poor quality so I am going to try again...
Our upstairs bathroom was decent but in need of some serious work....and while we are at it the girl and I wanted the laundry room up there as well. Here we go...

This was a whole bunch of fun!! Plaster is definatly not awesome to tear down. I was having a rough time until I went to the hardware store and got a Saw Zaw...this little tool made things much easier. Make sure to wear eye protection and a face mask when removing plaster.

This will be our new space for the laundry room....we took some space from a third bedroom to make the laundry area an acceptable size

Remodeling - the plan

Here is the existing floor plan that we have drawn up for the new and improved upstairs bathroom. It is currently a mess of partitioned walls and unused open space.
Currently there is some bad tile and an old bathtub that needs some updating...

This is our first demolition work in our first house so we are hoping that everything goes smoothly however....I doubt it will.
