Destiny the game is getting called out by high valued gamers/streamers

Here is Triplewreks take on the current state of destiny...please watch the whole thing its almost painful to hear him talk about "the good old days" Bungivi$ion has dropped the ball on destiny. There is always hope, but these are indeed "dark times" .




Triplewrek is not the only one to express concern. The verge and forbes even have bad click bait articles saying to 'quit' destiny now.

Make a stand guardians, make your own opinion. I will never quit destiny...I may stop playing a little bit, but I will never stop.

Destiny the game January Update

Ok so there was not much meat in the destiny update. Lots and lots of destiny fan boys have been
ragging for a few weeks now and its really getting old.
Destiny the game subreddit has been consumed by fanboys/girls applying massive amounts of salt and complaining non stop.






This is my plea to these hardcore gamers...YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONES PLAYING THIS GAME! Most of us have a 9 to 5 gig and then a significant other/family at home and we cant play 4 hours a day every day.
Lets just put that figure in perspective 4 hours a day every day since the game came out. What other game every has had that much play time? You can maybe make a argument for those massive MMORPGS, but destiny is not an MMORPG. This game is in some total uncharted water here so relax guys.

With that being said, the salt in completely uncalled for, normal gamer's still have plenty of content to play through. and if there is not enough content for you then please stop playing for a few days/week and maybe go outside....

So the update was a bunch of fluff, we have another silly event for valentines day - something about doubles crucible......and the developers have heard that the players are unhappy about the crucible matchmaking...it is in the works

In closing...if you guys are not having fun playing or want more content, stop playing for a while...there is no new content coming, these stuff takes months and months to generate. All games ever take a lot of time to develop.

The response from the community really shows how much players LOVE this game. Do not listen to the haters, this game is simply amazing. Destiny 1 had a rich story that was ripped apart last minute, WE DO NOT WANT TO SEE THIS MISTAKE REPEATED.
Please understand that we want Bungie to take their time with destiny 2...please for the love of the traveler do not rip the story apart....and also sometimes a linear play through it not the worst thing ever.

Even you can get the Exotic Shotgun Chaperone PSA

Finally after months and months of garbage SGA (super good advice), or PSA if you never read about destiny on Reddit, a brave guardian has found a new way to get the super awesome exotic shotgun. 

The chaperone is an exotic shotgun with a painful PVP quest line that involves getting kills with an exotic hand cannon, The Last Word

I am sorry that I lied in my previous post about not competing in the Sparrow Racing League on destiny. 

All you need to do is equip TLW and participate in a race. Each race gets you approx 3%, so it's a little slow but as long as you don't die you will get your 3%. 

Also apparently you can also use 3oC and get exotic engrams for top 3 places (possible troll-has not been personally confirmed)

There has been a ton of debate about this topic and the destiny fan base has done its homework...Luke Smith has said in a tweet that destiny players have yet to figure out the most effective way to use ToC (troll) there probably isn't a "most effective" way at all besides throwing them at the screen. 

Be that as it may there has been much speculation as to the best times to use ToC. 

As far as I can tell fire teams of three have the best luck when everyone uses a coin on the third ultra kill.

Best way to do this is to use a coin and kill an ultra to get your count to zero. Then complete two strikes without a coin use and on the third strike use a ToC before the boss. 

This technique has worked well for some and terribly for others. Personally I think you should just play the game and use a Three of Coins whenever you remember.

Destiny and Bungie why the playstation love?

Xbox One

Bungie why have you forsaken Xbox players? We have been loyal since Halo...it feels like we had a strong relationship building and then you dump us for something slimmer and prettier. Only joking for dramatics of course but seriously bungie...how could you give playstation exclusive content?! You and I both know they don't deserve it!! I will never buy a PS4 no matter how much exclusive stuff you give them, and I know I am not alone.

TLW remember who your true love is, your first love.

And let us rein supreme over PS4 like we were always meant to.

On another note, the new DLC is looking very promising...adult things keep pulling me away from my destiny but I will make a short post about HoW sometime in the near future.

Crotas End - Destiny the game

I've been reading these destiny forums for a while now. Most of the time I can't stop reading because the flame wars some comments create are beyond comical. Everyone thinks they know how to run a the company much better than the people running it. 

Listen the game is suppose to be hard. Not everyone is suppose to be able to beat the hard mode. Al these glitches are not bugs...the AI should chase you around the map until you die....or the AI should take cover under fire....

However bungie you do have a problem on your hands.

The long time gamers are losing interest. How are we going to fix this?

Certainly not an easy task....my idea would have to be implemented in a half step for destiny 1 and then more in depth in destiny 2.

So let's get into my big fantastic idea!!!

A few main objectives

1) some rudimentary trading system

2) upgrades to your character or ghost

3) combined and customize guns

I understand this is no small order but this will keep players playing and farming for materials forever. 

The first part of the idea is critical in order to get some idea of what materials are really worth to the players. Let players trade material on some sort of open market. Once you can gather some data is how much materials are worth to other materials then we can move on to number 2.

Number 2 is for the RPG aspect of the game...people want the grind it's obvious, but the thing that makes the grind worth while is progress. So the main idea here is to have some super massive long quest chain for each of the NPCs in the tower. As you complete some of the quests you should get special items that consume materials (spin, iron, shards, but mostly notes of light) then after you get this special item to the next level you should be able to feed it to your ghost for 1% str, int, disp or a few points towards the next light lvl....this way people will have something to work towards. Impossible as it might be hardcore players can slowly rise above the casuals.

Number 3 is pretty much being implemented in the next DLC.

Destiny's January update will end the cheese

If you haven't checked already the next weekly update will put a stop the the Crota cheese...mostly. Give it another week and someone will find another exploit to kill Crota super fast and easy. The strange thing I have noticed on destinylfg.net (a good place to find a fire team) is that most groups specifically say something about "no cheesing" or "fresh run legit". The people want the challenge or all the time committed to the game is worthless and any gained skill doesn't matter. 

Another update I am excited to hear about is the VOG will get an update to drop the higher level guns and hopefully the armor gets a buff too...at least light lvl 33 would still make the VOG worth running. I know I am still waiting to pick up that vex mythoclas. 

Xur has been a major disappointment the past few weeks so hopefully this week he will be selling something worth buying.

Have faith loyal guardians the gods of destiny listen to our needs and wants and slowly changes are implemented to make the universe better. Unfortunately if you want it you gotta pay for it and I fear destiny will not be able to keep their loyal players happy long enough for the "comet" update this September.

Destiny players beware of weekly reset

A friend and I were gaming late last night waiting for the 3am reset. When the time came we jumped right into the weekly nightfall. It is that bad wizard strike, but with solar damage!! So as two warlocks we tore through the strike pretty quickly....omnigal took a lot of pain however after about 30 minutes we knocked her out. Unfortunately there were no rewards for our struggle. We did a little Internet research and turns out you really need to log out and log back in to refresh your game.

Just a quick FYI for all you guardians out there

Xbox One or PS4 - should you get either system?

I have been looking around and doing a good amount of research on these systems. The PS4 had an early head start due to their initial price, but now that the xbox one comes without a kinect that gap is slowly closing.



As far as specs go and capabilities the two systems are fairly similar. The PS4 has the potential for better graphics and is a smaller console....but the xbox one will have halo 5...so there you go. Either system is such a large jump from the previous systems you can't really go wrong, it all comes down to weather or not you can live without Halo....and this gamer cannot so I will be getting the Xbox One and hopefully before the september release of DESTINY!

Destiny by Bungie

I have been reading a lot about this title and from the beta release gamers seem to be very excited about the potential for the full game...not only the full game but Destiny could possibly be the first step in a new idea of online gaming.
Some call destiny a "borderlands-like" game only the graphics and the sci fi are for real not cartoony. This game is so beautiful I cannot wait till september.
So far the consensus is the warlocks have a bit of an unfair advantage, but I am sure that class will get nerfed...and hopefully as the months go on more classes will be invented and the game will expand through the galaxy.
